Cyberpunk 2077 Developers Answer Game Will Get 50GB Day One Patch

The marketing department of CD Projekt RED seems to have told everything important about Cyberpunk 2077, however, the Internet is still full of rumours about the new game of the Poles. One of them states that the first-day patch for the game will weigh over 50 gigabytes. The developers had to debunk the gossip again.

According to Fabian Mario Dohla, gamers won’t have to strain their internet channel. Simply because at the moment no patch weighing 50 gigabytes exists in nature – at least at this stage of working with the title. Thus, most likely, the figure that has floated into the network is nothing more than the installation size of the game itself.

However, no one can guarantee that in the future the game will not weigh more. At the moment, in addition to the main version of the game, the Poles are preparing its improved version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / X, and this will inevitably lead to the need to free up additional storage space for the update. In addition, DLCs are planned for Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt RED asked gamers ahead of time not to stream their new game. The appeal to the community was published on the official page of the project on the Twitter microblogging network.
