Sony and Microsoft not refunding Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One

Yesterday, December 14, the developers at CD Projekt RED apologized to players for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and announced that gamers can get their money back for digital copies using the PSN or Xbox refund system, respectively.
Soon thereafter, a slew of netizens tried to get the money back, but neither Sony nor Microsoft approved the applications.
The PS Store Refund Policy states: “Purchased digital content that you have already started downloading or streaming is non-refundable unless the content is in error.”
Microsoft’s policy on this is slightly different : “All sales of digital game products are final, but we understand that there may be good reasons.”
When you request a refund for purchased products and depending on the type of purchase or content considered in establishing refund eligibility, we take into account various factors, such as time elapsed since purchase, the time elapsed since product launch, and the nature of your use of the purchased product.
Edition VGC contacted Sony and Microsoft, but so far the situation commented on only the second. Company representatives stated that the processing of refund requests for Cyberpunk 2077 was in accordance with the aforementioned terms and conditions.

Recall that many players call the versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for consoles of the previous generation unplayable. The Digital Foundry these versions compared to the ports of big games on the Switch.
Players already have lowered the rating of the console versions on Metacritic, and in the description of the game on OpenCritic Now mention problems on PS4 and Xbox One.
At one time, critics received only copies of the game for the PC for review, but now reviews have begun to appear on the console versions. An IGN reviewer, for example, gave Cyberpunk 2077 only 4 points out of 10 on base PS4 and Xbox One.  The main reason for this low rating was numerous technical problems.
The developers at CD Projekt RED have already promised to fix bugs and provide general improvements infrequent updates. Also, players are waiting for major updates. The first of them will be released in January and February.
