Test! HP Envy Vs HP Pavilion has also used the proven devices of transformable laptops in its cheaper Pavilion and Envy models.
It can tilt the display a full 360 °, but somewhere it had to be saved. We tested two new models of HP Envy 15 x360 and HP Pavilion 13 x360 notebooks.
However, we found that they are structurally identical and are distinguished only by components.
We will, therefore, include them in one test and show how the little things differently.
What is The Difference between HP Envy Vs HP Pavilion?
Although laptops are plastic, they are strong when handled and generally look like they are well made.
It is truer of the smaller thirteen, which cures them. We also don’t find more twisting or bending in a bigger laptop, however, when we grab the laptop by the corner of the base, thanks to the longer lever, it bends a bit.
Display
The plastic cover of the display does not provide sufficient protection against dents in any model. Ripples will reflect even minor suppression on the back in the LCD panel image.
In the designation of both models, we find at the end of the specification x360. It tells us that the display will flip to the other side and will be tactile.
Mechanism Works
The mechanism works without problems and works resiliently. But we have a complaint about the used LCD panels.
For a convertible touch notebook, we would expect a fine-resolution IPS display.
However, both laptops use a TN panel, which is not even very good, and the viewing angles are really bad.

In terms of resolution, the thirteen have a standard resolution of 1,366 × 768 pixels, and the more massive Envy is at least Full HD.
In addition to a more excellent screen resolution, the Envy also has a higher-quality backlit keyboard and a larger touchpad.
However, both models have a good keyboard. It has a pleasant hardness and an ideal stroke height; the Pavilion lacks only backlighting.
