FOUNDATION OF AEW
All Elite Wrestling (AEW), an American professional wrestling organization, was founded in 2019. Shahid Khan, and his son Tony, announced the inception of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019.
Mr. Shahid Khan was the leading investor of promotion, and Mr. Tony Khan was the company’s originator, moderator, and CEO. The promotion’s first contracted talents were Cody Rhodes and Nick Jackson, professional wrestlers. Adam Page is also known as The Elite.
Together with Kenny Omega (a fellow professional wrestler), Rhodes and the Jacksons will perform in-ring duties and serve as executive vice presidents.
COMPETITOR OF WWE
AEW Dynamite is a weekly T.V. show on TNT in the United States since October 2, 2019. CBS Sports called AEW “the first company to have the significant monetary backing to start to compete with WWE at a substantial level for nearly two decades.
TRADEMARKING AND LAUNCHING OF AEW
Several trademarks were filed in Jacksonville on November 5, 2018, to indicate the launch by All Elite Wrestling. The trademarks were filed in Jacksonville, Florida. They included All Elite Wrestling, AEW All Out, All Out, AEW, Double or Nothing, Tuesday Night Dynamite, AEW Double or Nothing, and several logos. Cody, The Young Bucks, and other wrestlers quit ROH in December 2018. The official notification about AEW’s constitution was made on January 1, 2019, at midnight Pacific Time, in an episode of Being the Elite. This YouTube series is hosted by and features The Elite. The episode also featured Double or Nothing, AEW’s first event and sequel of All In.
PARTNERSHIPS
They held the company’s inaugural press conference on January 8, 2019, at the TIAA Bank Field. It featured talents such as former ROH wrestlers (Christopher Daniels and Scorpio Sky), “Hangman” Adam Page, independent wrestlers Dr. Britt and Joey Janela, former WWE wrestlers Pac and Chris Jericho. They also announced a partnership with Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (OWE), a Chinese professional wrestling organization.
On May 15, 2019, they announced a partnership with WarnerMedia for a weekly prime time show that will air live on TNT. The same network used to broadcast WCW’s Monday Nitro during Monday Night Wars (1995-2001).
They produced their first-ever pay-per-view (PPV) on May 25, 2019. It was called Double or Nothing. They held the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and Jon Moxley made his debut. In addition, Bret Hart, a veteran pro wrestler, unveiled the AEW world championship belt during Double or Nothing.
AEW also produced Fyter Fest in June and Fight for the Fallen July during the summer.
All Out, AEW’s second pay-per-view event was held on August 31, 2019. First, they revealed the AEW Women’s World Championship belt. Then, in the main event, Chris Jericho beat Adam Page to become the inaugural AEW World Champion.
TNT’s website listed the show as AEW Dynamite on September 19, 2019. They also set a preview show of one hour for October 1, at 8 PM.

THE MOST PROMINENT DEBUT
TNT’s October 2, 2019 debut of Dynamite was watched by an average of 1.409 million people. This made it the most prominent television debut in five years. On October 2, WWE’s NXT will debut their two-hour premiere on USA Network. The previous episodes had the first hour on the USA and the second on WWE Network. They averaged 891,000 viewers. Dynamite surpassed NXT in viewership, more than twice as many viewers in key demographics 18-49. They scored 878,000 viewers to NXT’s 414,000. Before and after the episodes, untelevised matches were filmed to air on AEW Dark the Tuesdays following (except for the pay-per-view events where they air Fridays on AEW’s YouTube channel).
It has a training facility. Its name is Nightmare Factory. QT Marshall manages this facility, and he serves as a trainer.

PANDEMICE IMPACTS ON AEW
It was affected by the American onset virus (COVID-19) in March 2020 after news broke of other postponements and cancellations in sports. Dynamite’s March 18th episode was canceled after two NBA players tested positive for the virus. As a result, the show was canceled from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Double or Nothing was to take place on May 23.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena announced that all events were canceled until May 31 due to the virus on April 8.
Since March 12, Nevada was under a state of emergency that prohibited all public gatherings indefinitely. AEW announced that Double or Nothing would go ahead as planned, but at Daily’s Place or TIAA Stadium for the main event match.
Ron DeSantis, Florida’s Governor, declared AEW, just like WWE, essential to the state’s economy on April 13. They added an exception to the state’s stay-at-home order for employees working in “professional sports and media productions” that are closed to the public and have a national audience. Tony Khan stated that the pandemic had deprived the company of millions in revenue from live events.
Jazwares launched the first line of AEW toys and action figures on August 3. They announced that ticketed fans would be able to return to live events starting August 20. This was following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. These include wearing masks, temperature checking, and physical distancing. They allowed up to 10% capacity at Daily’s Place and up to 15% at All Out, starting with the August 27th episode of Dynamite.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF AEW Video GAMES
The promotion featured AEW Video Games on November 10. AEW also revealed three new games in development: AEW Casino – Double or Nothing, and AEW Elite G.M. for mobile devices and an unnamed console game that Yuke’s, an ex-developer of WWE 2K, has developed.
The announcement also uncovered AEW Elite General Manager, a new mobile privilege that lets contestants fill the role of a G.M., coordinating their shows and roster of talent.
They have already launched AEW Casino – Double or Nothing, and it has gained enough popularity.
As per their official Twitter account confirming, the new release will hit Google Play and the App Store on July 15. The reveal occurred alongside a small teaser, witnessing AEW World Champion Kenny Omega competing with Orange Cassidy in AEW Elite General Manager’s online mode.
