Official Xbox Game Pass October 2026 lineup featuring Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis, and seven other games

Xbox Game Pass October 2026: Battlefield 6 Leads Nine PC Additions

October 18, 2026 · PC and Xbox gaming news

Xbox Game Pass October 2026 has delivered a varied PC lineup, led by Battlefield 6. EA’s October 13 announcement confirms that the shooter has joined EA Play’s library with access through PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. It is a library addition to an existing game, rather than a new Battlefield launch.

Microsoft’s October 7 Game Pass announcement lists nine PC additions across October 8–16. By this article’s October 18 reporting date, all nine announced dates have passed. Here is the schedule, followed by the details that matter before you start downloading.

The announcement lists PC Game Pass and Ultimate for all nine games. Check the current PC Game Pass page and your account’s library for regional availability and the version included with your plan.

Battlefield 6 joins through EA Play

EA describes the new addition as unlimited library access, rather than only a timed trial. Its announcement also separates the base-game subscription access from the Game of the Year Edition, which is not included with EA Play. Check an edition’s contents before paying for an upgrade on the assumption that the subscription already covers it.

For readers who have been following Microsoft’s release pipeline, this is a useful follow-up to PoGamer’s Xbox Partner Preview coverage: announced projects and later subscription additions can arrive on different schedules.

Two other games worth investigating

Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner. Its official Steam description centers on a resurrected soldier, supernatural abilities, and combat built around parries and movement. On that description, it is the more natural place to start if you want a demanding solo action game.

Deep Dish Dungeon takes a different approach: exploration, puzzles, crafting, and cooking, with solo play or co-op for up to three players. Its publisher describes returning to camp and using gathered resources between expeditions. That makes it a useful game to investigate if your group wants a shared exploration session.

These are suggestions based on the developers’ descriptions, rather than PoGamer review verdicts. Look at gameplay footage and the game’s requirements before making either your next installation.

Check access and requirements before downloading

Microsoft’s PC Game Pass FAQ explains that subscription access lasts while your membership is active and the game remains in the library. It also directs players to individual game pages for hardware requirements. A library listing alone does not establish how well a game will run on your machine.

  • Check the edition. Compare the included base game with any separately listed upgrades or extras.
  • Read the PC requirements. Compare the game’s own listing with your CPU, GPU, RAM, and available storage.
  • Plan your first session. For co-op, have everyone confirm access before choosing a game and setting a time.

The October 15 departures have already passed

The same Game Pass announcement listed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Pacific Drive among the October 15 departures. As of this article’s date, that deadline has passed. Do not treat older download lists as proof of current subscription access; check your library before returning to an unfinished game.
