Nintendo Bowser piracy: Nintendo is on the warpath against Bowser. And no, they are not doing it in defense of Peach or Super Mario, but of their Nintendo Switch.
We explain ourselves. Nintendo of America and its president Doug Bowser have issued a complaint against Gary Bowser, an individual who has nothing to do with either the division leader or the King of the Koopas but with the console. This person allegedly leads a group dedicated to creating and selling Nintendo Switch hacks, which enable the piracy of their games.
Nintendo requests that Bowser cease operations; in fact, Nintendo calls Bowser’s operations ” an international piracy ring” and is seeking two counts of trafficking and one of copyright infringement against Bowser.
This is reflected in the lawsuit registered in a court in Seattle, home of Nintendo of America, and shared by Polygon. Gary Bowser has allegedly been creating and selling modified Nintendo devices since 2013, when he began distributing a product designed to hack Nintendo 3DS consoles.
