However, this does not mean that we can mount any model of the graphics card with any processor. Doing so exposes us to suffer a bottleneck in the performance of our team. The RTX 2080 Ti is the innovations of decades of Nvidia’s work, and it shows. The 2080 Ti brings considerable improvements in gross power over the 1080 Ti it replaces. It also offers exclusive access to new technologies such as real-time ray tracing (RTX) or deep learning super sampling (DLSS).

This Ryzen 5 compatible GPU, which release in October 2019, carries much faster GDDR6 memory than the one included in the GTX 1660, with memory frequencies increased from 8Gbps to 14Gbps and a small 5W increase to its TDP.

These changes achieve a performance almost equal to the most expensive model,  MSI GTX 1660 Ti, allowing very good results in 1080p and the possibility of reaching 1440p with some adjustments. Although it’s tempting to jump to the RTX 2060, which has more advanced features like hardware ray tracing, you can save quite a bit of money by choosing the lower GTX option.

This card gets an extra 25-40 percent performance for 600USD compared to our previous choice; the venerable RX 580 8GB costs 600 USD,

With the release of the new generation of Nvidia cards, previous AMD cards are experiencing price drops that make them an interesting option. For example, the RX 570, a mid-range card at the time, is now available for a lower price than our previous choice of cheap card, the GTX 1050 3GB.

This AMD card offers a good 1080p performance, even in the latest games, though you’ll have to lower some of the settings to maintain 60FPS on average. Still, the RX 570 has a few downsides. The main one is that it has a higher processor usage than NVidia’s similar power cards.

So we recommend having at least a quad-core processor, preferably a recent AMD Ryzen or Intel Core, to prevent the CPU from making the bottle’s neck. The RX 570 also tends to consume Ryzen 5 compatible GPU more than the GTX 1060 3GB or GTX 1050 Ti so that it may have performance issues on computers with limited or non-standard power supplies.

If you dare to overclock, you can get much more performance out of the RX 570. The amount depends as always on the “lottery” of the chip you play, but in some cases, especially with cards that include the most advanced cooling options, performance can match that of the RX 580.

The AMD RX 5700 is one of the best cards the company has released in recent times, thanks to a very attractive low price and surprisingly decent performance thanks to the new RDNA architecture and 7nm manufacturing process. It enables it to provide adequate 1080p and 1440p performance, producing less heat and consuming less power than previous AMD designs.

New features like Radeon Image Sharpening and Radeon Anti-Lag includes improving image quality and response time on DX9, DX11, and Vulkan (older AMD cards do not support Anti-Lag on DX9). The RX 5700 wins in the performance comparison with the RTX 2060, although the new RTX 2060 Super is faster than both.

NVidia’s cards also include hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which adds new visual effects in some games and has the potential to become essential with the arrival of technology on next-gen consoles.

On average, these overclocked models are only 6 or 7 percent slower than the RX 5700, at a much lower price, making them a better performance/price option. On the other side, the RX 5600 XT has less memory (6GB vs. 8GB), a narrower memory bus, and little room for overclocking, so the RX 5700 takes our recommendation to play 1440p.

The RTX 2060 is a great & excellent card at a price it has, offering reliable mid-range performance, including the RTX and DLSS features that define the Nvidia 20 series and are priced lower after the RTX 2060 Super’s release.

To see the performance of this card in perspective, the RTX 2060 outperforms the 2015 Titan X Maxwell, which was once the best of all graphics cards. Available performance allows 2060 to attack higher resolutions (1440p instead of 1080p) or higher refresh rates (such as 144 Hz).

If you’re willing to experiment with lower graphics settings or play low specs Pc games like CSGO or Rocket League, your PC could easily come up with the 1440p-144hz mix. With DLSS up for grabs, some more demanding resolutions could achieve.

Remember, though, that high refreshments cause a higher load on your processor, so make sure you have one up to the task; We recommend a Core i7 8700K or better for optimal performance.

Finally, a Best graphics card for ryzen 5 2600, and contrary to expectations, the RTX 2060 can provide 1080p / 60FPS with ray tracing enabled in games like Battlefield 5, though you have to mess around a bit with the graphics options.
