The end of the year is slowly approaching and with it the release of some of the most anticipated games. After many delays, we will finally see Cyberpunk 2077 this month. At the end of the year, some new games releasing in December 2020 and the Ubisoft studio also prepared an ambitious game slot for us in the form of Immortals Fenix Rising.

List of Games Releasing In December 2020

1. Empire of Sin

  • Release Date: December 1st
  • Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

We will start the beginning of the month by creating our own criminal empire in the title Empire of Sin from the Romero Games studio. The year is 1920, and during the American Prohibition of Alcohol, Chicago is ripe for control. We will play the role of one of many historical or fictional mafia bosses.

The gameplay is a title strongly inspired by the popular XCOM series. On a global map, we will manage our businesses as well as the production and distribution of alcohol. Gradually, we will conquer more and more neighbourhoods and wage wars or do business with other gangsters and police forces.

The tactical battles themselves are almost identical to XCOM. The main mechanics are covering behind obstacles and using the various active abilities of our throat cutters in pull combat.

2. Worms Rumble

  • Release Date: December 1st
  • Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

This month we will see another addition to the popular multiplayer series from head to toe of armed worms. The latest work from the Team17 studio will be called Worms Rumble and will once again be a bit of unusual work.

It will not be a turn-based tactical fight that we are used to, but a crazy real-time action for 32 players. Basically, we can talk about the popular genre of Battle Royale.

With our visually modified worm, we will fight against other players in various arenas. Modes like Deathmatch or Last Worm Standing will be available here. In addition to the iconic weapons of the series, such as the bazooka, the holy grenade or the explosive sheep, there will also be some new additions to the destructive armament.

3. Chronos: Before the Ashes

  • Release Date: December 1st
  • Platform: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch

The very strange action-adventure Chronos: Before the Ashes from the Gunfire Games studio will also be released at the beginning of the month. This is a remake of the VR title Chronos from 2016. This time, however, as a full-fledged RPG for computers and consoles.

We get married in the skin of an adventurer who wanders through a mysterious labyrinth. The story itself takes place before the events of Remnant: From the Ashes. The title is especially interesting because every time we die, our hero loses one year of his life.

This means that as he gets older, his attributes will change. At the beginning of the game, our character will be young and agile, but towards the end of his life he will be wiser and with a better understanding of magic. This will also affect the way you play.

4. Immortals Fenyx Rising

  • Release Date: December 3
  • Platform: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadium and Amazon Luna

Three years ago, he shook the game world with the unique title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Several companies have already tried to replicate its excessive success. Currently, the giant Ubisoft is trying to do so with his upcoming game Immortals Fenyx Rising, originally known as Gods and Monsters.

The gameplay should be a title very similar to the aforementioned Zelda. Here, too, we will control the main character from a third-person perspective in a diverse open world. The endurance of our hero will also be very important in the fight, and along the way we will come across many temples in which we will solve logical puzzles.

The title is definitely interesting for its environment. The plot of the game takes place on the island of ancient Greece. So we can expect all sorts of mythological monsters like minotaur or cyclops. There will also be a Greek pantheon and titans.

5. Cyberpunk 2077 – Best Open world Game releasing in December 2020

  • Release Date: December 10th
  • Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and Google Stages

This month, after many delays, we will finally see probably the most anticipated game of the year Cyberpunk 2077 from the creators of the CD Projekt Red. They became famous mainly thanks to the cult series The Sorcerer. Probably most single-player players are about to visit the dystopian future full of neon lights and cybernetic implants.

The main protagonist is a mercenary known as the “V”. We can freely design and modify it as we wish. And literally, because it is a fully modifiable cyborg. Our playground will be the metropolis of Night City and its surroundings.

We will be able to approach tasks in different ways, and it is therefore up to us to face the various pitfalls of this world. However, in addition to long-range weapons, there will also be cyber blades, katanas and the possibility of hacking.
